It all started the summer of sophomore year of college. My best friend introduced me to a store called "
Savers" I occasionally shopped at thrift stores when I was younger, but I wasn't really into fashion back then....it was all about video games and Nsync.
Before then there was always this preconceived knowledge that if you shop at a thrift store...."
you ain't got no money!" So here I am going around trying to shop at this place and that place just to fit in with the "cool people". Well truth is,
I never fit in and another truth I'm in college, so
I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY. Of course these two truths haven't really changed much growing up, but I don't hide these facts anymore, I embrace them.
Every since that trip, I couldn't believe how much my closet has expanded, with the amount of money I still saved! I freaking love thrifting! In the past couple of months my wardrobe has went from 20% of thrifted items to literally 60%. It's like a rush every time I find something new, unique and cheap! So I'm here to share this part of me, show different styles and introduce folks to a cheaper way of looking AWESOME.
